A multiple graded stakes winner, Something Extra earned over a million dollars in his successful career at the track. When he was ready to retire, owner/trainer Gail Cox attempted to make "Charlie" her track pony, but he was too competitive to be happy walking babies to and from the track. Gail then decided her beloved gelding deserved a peaceful retirement and generously donated him to LongRun. She continues to support him throughout his retirement. Charlie knows he's special, and his gentle nature and goofy personality make him a hit for 'meet and greets' with the general public. He absolutely adores kids and will stand for hours being patted.
