Thank you for your interest in adopting a LongRun thoroughbred for your next riding partner and new best friend! We have many beautiful and intelligent thoroughbreds waiting to be adopted to their new home, where they will be able to enjoy their retirement from the racetrack.

LongRun horses can be retrained to become excellent riding prospects! We also have many companion (non-riding) horses that are seeking forever homes!

In order to pair you with your most compatible equine, we ask you to please complete the application below, ensuring that all questions are answered to the best of your ability.

Once the application is received, you will be contacted to further discuss and ask any follow up questions. Then a time will be set up for you to meet any horses that could be a match for you. Once your perfect horse is chosen, we will call your references and conduct an inspection of the facility at which your horse will be kept. We aren’t looking for fancy, just clean and safe.

Once approved, our adoptions manager will be in touch with you to arrange a set time to meet the horses and to work with you to find your perfect match!

** Please note that we are experiencing a large volume of submissions, our Adoption Manager is reviewing each application and will be in touch with you as soon as they are able to do so. Should you not receive a reply please know that this does not mean that your application has been turned down. We appreciate your patience!
