Play on Evan retired unraced, as after a workout in May some tendon thickening was noticed. He was well managed and the tendon was monitored, but when his trainer didn't think he would make it to the races this year, she retired him for a second career. He is enjoying some downtime outside, and with no major injuries has a bright future ahead. This big bodied guy with a laid back personality looks like he will shine in the hunter ring.
