PORTS N PORSCHES

2003 Bay Gelding

Native Regent ex Ritzy Lady, by Kissin Kris

67 starts, 9 wins, $300,326, 2nd Display S.

This once beautiful thoroughbred was found in poor condition awaiting his date with the killers in July of 2014. He had been off the track 3 years and indeed had been carefully rehomed by his caring connections when his racing days were over. Ports N Porsches had been promised a forever, loving home yet he ended up in danger of losing his life, through no fault of his own or the thoroughbred industry. But it was our thoroughbred community which stepped up to make sure he does get the happy and dignified retirement he earned. Ports N Porsches has been purchased privately and moved to one of LongRun’s foster farms, where he is being carefully monitored on his road to recovery. All of his former racetrack connections and other generous individuals have pledged $10.00 a month for a year to ensure that he is afforded a good life and perhaps a new career with a loving adopter once his recovery is complete. Won’t you think about sponsoring this deserving horse as well?
