Most high performance racehorses grow to enjoy the attention and adulation they receive at the track and expect it to continue upon retirement, so turn out is not necessarily the best option for them.  Terra Racing Stable’s Big Red Mike has been retired after a pair of substandard performances this July and, after a couple of months on the farm, Mike will be looking for a special someone with whom he can share his beauty, athletic ability and big heart.  LongRun would like to thank the Romeo family for entrusting us with this lovely horse and for their continued support of Mike and our organization – they look forward to visiting their champion and sharing his future with his adopter
