Canadian actors Andrew Walker (Steel Toes, The Torturer) and Jessica Paré (Mad Men), along with other screen veterans such as Earl Pasktko (Highway 61) and John Wildman (My American Cousin) are starring in the upcoming Canadian feature film “The Mountie”.
Wade Grayling, a heroic Mountie, is dispatched to the Yukon in the 1890’s and is forced to battle a criminal gang and their attempts to enslave a small settler community, after discovering the murder of an innocent man. Fans of classic westerns will undoubtedly warm to this All-Canadian western rooted in Canadian History.
Filmed on location in the Yukon Territory, this feature offers a unique opportunity to expand the viewer’s interest in our history and national stories, while offering a glimpse of a part of Canada most Canadians have never seen.
Due to the numerous horses featured in the film, the producers have been generous enough to allow us to pass on a fantastic offer to our supporters! Tickets for the feature can be offered to LongRun’s family and friends in advance for a 20% discount on purchases of 10 or more tickets for the film’s debut from July 1st through 7th at AMC Yonge and Dundas Square.
